[Week 22] Grand Central Station and Connecticut.

It’s been a long time since the last time I took the train from Grand Central Station to Connecticut. I love taking the train. I had to work on Saturday while everyone else are setting up their grills at their home’s backyard, enjoying some barbecue of some sort. Well, I am grateful for longer and warmer days. I was able to catch up with the family in Norwalk. We had s’mores, too. And of course Videoke when the mosquitoes started biting us.

[Week 18] Three states this week.

I spent a week in St. Louis, MO. My first time in the city. I was in awe. Houses are big, backyards are big, and there’s no traffic. I fell in love with the place. I wish to learn more about the city’s history. I’d like to spend more time in the Botanical Garden. I haven’t been to there museums. I could stay there longer. But of course it had to end. I went there to work.

I was back in New York on Friday (where I took a lousy picture of one of the streets in Manhattan). I do love the city that I am in. New York City has a lot to offer from its museums to its parks. New York City is more alive. I am happy that I am here. Plus the fact that I could be in any of the tri-states (NY, NJ, CT) anytime.

On Saturday, I went to visit family in Norwalk, CT. It’s the only place where I could drive on the highway for now. Given the straight highway route, I am confident to go back and forth Connecticut.

We had BBQ and Karaoke. I wish we could stay there the whole weekend but well, work starts on Sundays for us.

It was all good and fun, anyhow.
